“Courthouse Stars” Sampler star blocks are joined by Courthouse Step blocks to dance together on Saturday nights, reminding you of the Shindig on the Green. Made from scrappy 19th century reproduction fabrics in blue, red, and tan; professionally quilted and queen-sized. This is the twelfth quilt that local quilting collaborative Mountain Jam Circle has made and donated to Shindig on the Green. Valued at $1000.
Local stained glass artist, Bob Blackwell, has created another eye-popping piece for our 2024 raffle, and it is his third year in which he has made an outstanding work for us. This year’s raffle item features a cabin scene in the mountains, as well as a display stand and frame, all made from beautiful soft brown chestnut wood. This year’s work will create loads of interest, so buy lots of tickets, which go to support Shindig on the Green and Mountain Dance and Folk Festival. Valued at $1000.
Raffle tickets are $3 or two for $5, and are available at Shindig on the Green and at the Mountain Dance and Folk Festival.
